How to Receive WhatsApp Alerts
Follow the steps below to start receiving WhatsApp alerts for your sensors.
1. Check Whether a Datum Exists
- Open Sensor List (Sensor Information page).
- Select your sensor and click its Device Name.
- If a blue line is displayed on the graph, the datum has already been created.
2. Create a Datum (If Required)
If no blue line is visible, create a datum using one of the following methods:
Option A – Manual Datum Creation
https://amrmeter.online/datum-edit
Option B – Automatic Datum Creation
https://amrmeter.online/create-edit-datum-auto/
3. Configure WhatsApp Notifications
Once the datum has been created or verified:
- Go to My Profile → WhatsApp Notification Settings, or
- Open https://amrmeter.online/whatsapp-notification-settings/.
Select the required sensor and configure the notification settings.
4. Wait for Administrator Approval
Your WhatsApp notification request will become active after it is approved by the administrator.
5. Receive WhatsApp Alerts
After approval, you will receive WhatsApp notifications whenever the difference between the datum value and the actual sensor reading exceeds the configured threshold.
6. Start the WhatsApp Alert Service
Before expecting automated alerts, start a conversation with the official PMC alert number: +1 831 346 1683.
Save +18313461683 as PMC Water Alerts, open the contact in WhatsApp, and send either of the following messages:

- The Gap Time has passed since the last successful message.

- Your WhatsApp conversation with the PMC number is available.
Manage Your Notifications
- Use Edit to change the sensor, name, deviation, gap, or watch period.
- Super Admin users can use Activate or Deactivate in the notification table.
- Use Delete only when the rule is no longer required.
- Use the Active Status filter to show Active, Inactive, or all notifications.
- Ordinary users see and manage only the notification settings they created.
Troubleshooting
- No sensor found: Search by Device Code or Device Name. Only sensors with a valid last update are available.
- Status is Inactive: Request activation from a Super Admin.
- No message received: Confirm your registered number, send Start Alerts to +18313461683, and check watch time and gap.
- No alert despite Active status: The reading may be older than 10 minutes, or the deviation threshold may not have been crossed.
- Repeated alerts: Increase Gap Time or ask a Super Admin to deactivate the rule while it is reviewed.
- Need assistance: Note the Sensor ID, notification name, expected alert time, and registered mobile number before contacting the PMC Water IT team.
